Housing growth overall in the United States has declined over the last ten years. We having a housing deficit of over 3.8 Million homes.
Starter homes (Those under about 1400 sq ft) have declined most of all. We are at a 50-year low in the building of start homes. In the late 70s, they were 34% of the homes completed. Now they are less than 5%.
